Another employer in Western New York is closing up shop and leaving more than 100 workers wondering what they'll do next.
Worthington Industries announced plans to close its BernzOmatic facility in Medina. BernzOmatic makes parts for hand torches.
Officials say by the middle of next year they plan to have all local operations moved to Wisconsin. The company currently employs 174 workers.
News10NBC spoke to a man who works there who just found out he will soon have to find a new job.
Scott Bond has worked with BernzOmatic for 11 years. He says when he showed up for work on Friday, everyone was brought into a meeting and that's when they heard the company was moving.
“There are going to be a lot of people out there who can't feed their families anymore. I have four kids myself. I have a wife, four kids and a mortgage that I have to pay,” said Bond.
