Brockport Police blotter for May 13 - 19, 2013

May 15:
A Student Lane resident reports someone broke a door window to their apartment around 11 p.m.

A Monroe Avenue resident reports someone spray painted their apartment window and storm door, sometime between midnight and 8:50 a.m.

A Utica Street resident reports someone spray painted the rear of their home, sometime between 7:30 p.m. on May 14 and 12:45 p.m. on May 15.

A Holley Street resident reports someone spray painted the west side of their home sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

A High Street resident reports someone entered their unlocked residence through the front door. Nothing was reported damaged or stolen.

A Baldwinsville, New York resident reports the theft of their bicycle from a Park Avenue residence.

Brockport Police blotter for May 6 - May 12, 2013

May 8:
A Main Street resident reports the theft of their blue Lumix 254 “Tough Camera,” which was possibly taken from a Monroe Avenue address during  a yard party between 3PM and 8:30 p.m. on May 4.

May 9:
A Main Street business reports a necklace was removed from a display case on the front counter.

May 10:
4:15 p.m. – Police were called to investigate a possible menacing involving a knife at a Main Street address.

10:15 p.m. - Police arrested Damien Rodriguez, 24 of Brockport, on charges of criminal possession of marijuana, a Misdemeanor. Rodriguez is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Sometime between 1 p.m. on May 9 and 2:30 p.m. on May 10, someone reportedly reached through the open window of a vehicle and stole a “Flex x 2” Bluetooth transmitter. The vehicle was parked at a Main Street residence.

Holley woman charged with stealing from Geneva Walmart

A Holley woman has been arrested and charged with stealing more than $3,000 worth of merchandise from the Walmart in Geneva.

Kay Elizabeth Delker, 22, of Holley,  is charged with grand larceny. Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies say Delker entered the Walmart in Geneva on January 12 and January 16 and stole merchandise worth more than $3,000.

She was arraigned on Friday and was remanded to the Ontario County Jail lieu of cash bail. She will appear in court at a later date.

Two men, one company indicted on charges of violating the Clean Water Act

Two men and a Spencerport-based company have been on indicted on charges in connection with violating the Clean Water Act.

Crane-Hogan Structural Systems, Inc. is involved with hydro-demolition which uses high-pressure water to remove concrete from buildings before they can be resurfaced. The waste water from this process includes concrete remnants, which has a very high PH

Richard Hartunian, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York, says that 52-year-old William Clements of Victor and 52-year-old Mark Pullyblank of Caledonia were project supervisors in charge of demolition projects at the Governmental Center Parking Garage and Johnson City Wilson Hospital Parking Garage throughout 2008 and 2009. Hartunian says the three defendants are charged in a nine-count felony indictment with discharging untreated waster water without a permit into the Susquehanna River.

Brockport Police blotter for April 30 - May 5, 2013

April 30
A Fayette Street resident reports that sometime between April 26 and April 28, a piece of jewelry was stolen off a coffee table inside the home.

Police arrested Torrie R. Piddington, 21 of Brockport, on charges of second-degree aggravated harassment as well as a violation for harassment. Piddington is due to appear in Sweden Town Court later this month.

May 3
An Evergreen Road resident reports someone threw an egg at their vehicle, causing damage to the driver side mirror. This occurred while driving on East Avenue past Havenwood Drive around 10 p.m. on May 3.

May 5
12:15am - Police responded to a Merchant Street address for the third-degree assault report following a fight after the suspect(s) fled the scene. Less than 48 hours later, after a diligent investigation, Brockport Police were able to identify a suspect identity. The victim, however, did elect not to press charges.

Brockport Police blotter for April 22 - 29, 2013

April 26:
Police arrested 29-year-old Jeremy Reinhart of Rochester on charges of driving while intoxicated as well as other traffic-related offenses. Reinhart is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

April 27:
Police arrested 23-year-old Noel Vandorn of Brockport on charges second-degree assault, a felony. Vandorn was remanded to the Monroe County Jail.

April 28:
An Adams Street resident reported someone scratched their car, causing damage.  

The Brockport Police responded to 367 calls for service from April 22 through April 29.

Brockport Police blotter for April 15 - 21, 2013

April 15:
Police arrested Stephen J. Boronczyk, 22 of Syracuse, for second-deree obstructing governmental administration. He is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

April 17:
A Barry Street resident reported an unknown suspect entered his house sometime between 12 p.m. 8:30 p.m. and stole a $400 “Ibanez” electric guitar, $600 in CD’s and DVD’s, and a leather CD album. There were no signs of forced entry.

April 19:
A King Street resident reports that someone smashed the rear window of their car, keyed both sides and the hood of the vehicle.

A Monroe Avenue resident reports that someone stole their “HP” laptop from inside their house sometime during the overnight.

April 21:
An Adams Street resident reports someone damaged the hood of their car sometime between 8 p.m. on April 20 and 2 p.m. on April 21.
