Brockport-Seymour Library on East Avenue in Brockport is holding its annual Egg Hunt on Saturday from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Children ages 2 through 10 and their families are invited to search the library for Easter eggs. Next Generation Theatre presents "Disney's "The Little Mermaid Jr." at Spencerport High School's Performing Arts this weekend.

The show will be performed on Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 at 7:00p.m. There will also be a 2:00p.m. performance on Saturday.

The 60-minute family friendly musical is based on the Broadway production and the animated feature film.

Tickets are on sale online at www.nxtgentheatre.org and also available at The Ogden Farmer’s Library, Spencerport Federal Credit Union, and La Danse Workshop in Spencerport. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

Alyssa’s Angels, a Henrietta based charity, started a holiday gift project in 2011 to directly help local children and families in need during the holiday season. Five worthy non-profit organizations were selected and Alyssa’s Angels donated $500 to each.

This year, in an effort for the program to have a greater impact and help even more Rochester area children and families; Alyssa’s Angels reached out for partner organizations from the community to match its $500 donation. Through this effort, each of the five selected non-profit organizations received $1,000.
