For their bronze award action project, Girl Scout Troop 60040 in Henrietta, along with the help of ten certified Zumba instructors are hosting the first Zumbatomic event in Rochester.

Zumbatomic is a class designed for children between the ages of 4 and 12-years-old. It has the same dance and music styles as a regular Zumba Fitness class, but the routines are designed for kids.

The event will be Saturday May 18 from 1:30p.m. to 3:30p.m. at the Good Sheppard School Gymnasium on E. Henrietta Road in Henrietta.

There is no monetary admission, but the girl scouts ask that you bring gently used clean clothing, shoes, blankets and non perishable food items. They will be collecting them for the Brockport Ecumenical Food and Clothing Shelf, which will be given to the migrant workers and their families.

There will also be an opportunity for girls to learn about the Girl Scout Program.
